“Fit is small. So after trying them on in the shop I bought a whole size larger than my normal. Very comfy to run. I have slightly wider than normal feet and the shape fit is good for me.”

“Tried a few mountain running shoes and La Sportiva always works for me. The Akasha have a wide toebox and wide heel cushion to help stability and comfort over long distances. I use mine for mountain trail running up to 30 miles regularly and used one pair to complete Lakeland 100. Currently own two pairs.”

“30 miles in so far; no slips on the downhill muddy sections, no skinned heels; no sore feet. Terrific cushioning round the back of the ankle; takes a moment to get used to. The laces 'seem' short; but in fact are enough and don't undo; and there is a 2nd further-back top-lace position which I've used on the left shoe; it's perfect, for my slightly smaller left foot. They've got a good reaction on pavements too; and they 'absorb' rather than 'strike' the pavement. It's going to be a wonderful time...”
