These resistance bands are a great aid for improving muscle strength and range of motion. Different colours mean different resistance levels: red band provides medium resistance (5.5 pounds of force when stretched to 200% of its length); green provides a heavier resistance of 6.7 pounds and they are both suitable for hip/knee exercises - great for runners who want to strengthen these areas. Blue band provides heavier resistance (with 8.6 pounds of force) and black band the heaviest resistance with 10.2 pounds. Higher resistance bands are great for people who already work out regularly and are looking for a higher resistance training.

Excellent as a warm up before a run. The g270 univ-8 shoes however are uncomfortable!
