Whilst I am happy with the quality of the finished bathroom, this material is extremely difficult to deal with. The three panels I received were not flat. One of them was bowed quite badly. I made the mistake of thinking if I stored them flat for a few days at room temperature they would be okay. Unfortunately, they were not. However, I decided to go ahead and try and apply them to my existing bathroom wall. It was an enormous struggle despite the fact there were two of us. We managed to secure them eventually but had to resort to additional measures to accomplish that. They are also very difficult to cut. Despite watching a couple of You Tube videos and reading the instructions carefully, cutting them was very difficult. We cut them approx 5mm oversize and then used a 60 grit flap disc to sand them down to the correct measurement. This seemed to be the easiest option and worked very successfully once we had figured it out. Having said all of that, I should say that I am more than happy with the finished product and despite the challenge of fitting the panels the finish is great.

Good morning Robert, We're very sorry to hear you've had some difficulty with the panels. The 3mm composite panels from all manufacturers can be more prone to bowing than your thicker wood or plastic boards. As any 3mm board would need to be malleable to avoid breakages. We look to mention how to remedy any visible bow across the website. In cases where any bow is beyond tolerance, free of charge replacements are sent out ASAP. We're happy to hear that the finished product looks great and if you need anything else at all please let us know! Again, we're sorry for any inconvenience caused. Rubberduck Bathrooms Team
