Wetwall Composite White Tile Panel The composite range of shower panels are made from a super strong, completely waterproof composite, that has a stunning embossed tile effect. As the material is of a stronger composition to give a more durable finish, we do advise that fitters use quality saw blades when cutting to size and that you have some spare saw blades to hand in-case they blunt too quickly. Please note: The Composite panels from Wetwall do not come bonded to a plywood or PVC, they are a 3mm composite panel embossed with a tile effect finish. It is recommended they are fitted to a continuous flat surface to help provide support to the panels. It is imperative that panels are conditioned prior to fitting by laying flat in the room (or one with similar heat/humidity conditions) they are to be fitted for 2-3 days. Most panels exhibiting a small degree of bow or twist can be used and are not faulty. The mechanical method of fixing required should pull the panels flat against the wall. If a slight bow makes it difficult for the panel to sit flush with the fixing surface, we would recommend placing something soft on the panel to protect the finish from scratching and applying pressure to the panel until the adhesive grabs and the panel stays in place. You can also use timber batons to secure the boards in place while the adhesive sets, again while making sure not to damage the decorative surface.
