“Used these to cover the ends of 6 mm fibreglass rods, now used widely in roman blind making. The wholesalers sell caps for the 4 mm rods but so far haven't got them for the 6 mm. These were rather manly and expensive for the job as they are meant to be for steel rods and bought in much larger quantities. Nonetheless, helped me out as the un-capped rod ends had worn through their sheer fabric rod pockets.”
