The Microgrid Zip Neck is designed using an advanced microgrid fleece fabric, made from a soft brushed polyester, which provides a soft brushed back for extra added comfort, and uses a ‘needle-out’ technique to create a grid pattern on the surface of the fabric. These grids give the zip neck a stylish, textured appearance and work to trap air, and maintain warmth. “I concur with Richard Scott’s review. This is an excellent product and great they are back but Rohan have done some nicer colours which for men may sell better. There is the brown rust colour used for the corduroy shirt, or the lining of the solar orange Helios jacket, a dark navy perhaps or a softer darker green. I bought the orange Helios as something warm, waterproof and highly visible on my bike. About 50 years now since I first bought Rohan!”

“Agree with previous review. I have two of these, they are great for layering, comfortable, lightweight and packable. I would purchase more but not in these colours. Great colours in crew neck but prefer zip neck with addition features for hiking.”

“Have bought four of these in the past and three still going strong. So many positives about these tops and sorely tempted to order again with their re introduction to the range but what were Rohan thinking about with these colours. Really struggling because of the three being offered absolutely nothing appeals at all. Why so outlandish gaudy colours, why not say a black, navy blue or grey in the mix, basically something a little more subdued in the choice, dare I say just more mainstream. Personal taste and very subjective of course but I honestly think the majority of men will generally be looking for less radical colours than these.”

“Only viewed online - thank you for bringing them back. Have had three in the past (still wear two and they are the best product). However - why the outlandish colours? Could you not temper the offering by including one or two that are more subdued - we don't all want to stand out. Won't be buying due to Gents colour-way selection, even though replacements are needed.”
