The Fjell Vapour Jacket has been designed with the hills and fells in mind, with engineered panels to allow for unrestricted movement when walking , four-way stretch helps you move comfortably and Durable Water Repellency protects you from unexpected summer showers. Paired with technical jersey panels with FreshWay technology this jacket really is a must for those more challenging hikes.
FreshWay technology has been incorporated into this garment, this mean that tiny traces of silver are distributed evenly throughout the fibres of the jacket. Silver is a highly effective antimicrobial agent which safely inhibits the growth of odour-causing bacteria and fungi. The use of FreshWay can also increase the lifetime of the garment due to the reduction of bacteria build which results in less washing.
Large zipped pockets in the chest and waist give you the space to carry your valuables and essential kit with you. these have been thoughtfully designed so that you are able to access these pockets whilst wearing a rucksack. A funnel collar lined with jersey will protect the back of your neck, and also naturally wick away moisture. Partly elastic cuffs keep the jacket secure around your wrists and easily accessible zipper pullers.

“I have no regrets about buying this jacket: it is light, comfortable, very well-made and has outstanding pocket capacity due both to the pocket sizes (effectively covering the whole front of the garment) and the stretch fabric. The DWR works well on the front and shoulders but the jacket will NOT keep you dry in even a light shower as the jersey panels provide no rain protection at all. Maybe if wearing a rucksack this would not be much of an issue, and also when cycling reasonably fast. I found my shirt back wet after a 10 minute stroll in light rain. On the other hand I it carries my Goretex cycling jacket, lightweight over trousers, gloves etc., so I can have all- weather capability anyway.”

“Just taken delivery and very pleased. Thought it might be ‘too jazzy’ with the colours, but really does look good. Had worried my wife would say return it, but she was equally impressed, so it must be ok! Normal Rohan quality and very light. Will be excellent over a T shirt during our awful summer! Can see this being a well jacket. P.S. can you return the ability to zoom in on pictures of products. I live 50 miles from nearest shop so mainly shop on line, and a closer look helps.”

“Bought this jacket and it immediately became my go to jacket when nipping out anywhere, it acts mostly as an over shirt, for driving, walking, on the bike or running, wear it to the gym as a layer in the winter over a T Shirt. The front is a stringer more are wearing material not wind proof or rain resistant in my experience, the. Ack panel is a much lighter airy fabric which is great as it acts a vent panel which makes it comfy enough to wear in the house, it’s a temperate garment I use as an outer layer over a base layer or shirt. The pockets are handy having zippers and the usual Rohan quality is there so this is for as user friendly a jacket can be. Still….. not as good as the old Rohan Goa over the head but it’ll do….”
