Ocean
The Ocean range is woven in a unique ‘V’ and open weave pattern. Using 7mm & 12mm flat triple tone bronze Rose Fibres, woven around a powder coated aluminium. Rose Fibres are environmentally friendly and 100% recyclable, Rose Fibres are perfect for use with garden furniture due to the fact they are long lasting, highly durable, weather and UV resistant.
Weave Information
Alexander Rose rattan furniture is made using only the highest quality synthetic man-made fibre available, Rose fibres. Rose fibres are produced for Alexander Rose by Viro and are tested rigorously to ensure they meet with Alexander Rose’s high standards ensuring that every piece of woven furniture benefits from the same UV resistance, complete weather resistance and Insensitivity to differences in temperature.
The structures for all of Alexander Rose’s woven furniture are made from fully welded, powder-coated aluminium frames. The aluminium frames are electrostatically powder coated to prevent rust. Alexander Rose boasts highly skilled often 2nd or 3rd generation weavers, which use their experience with traditional natural materials and apply their skills to modern materials to provide the best quality furniture possible.
Weave Maintenance
Alexander Rose recommends that all woven furniture is cleaned at once a year, using a non foaming cleaner. Use of a foaming cleaner will leave residues in the gaps between the weave which will then attract dirt.
Woven chairs can be cleaned using a pressure hose using a wide spray setting at a distance of approximately one metre from the product at all times. Tables should be cleaned carefully with a sponge and a cleaning agent. • Apply lukewarm water with a soft cloth or sponge. • Brush the furniture clean with a soft scrubbing pad. • Rinse furniture well with clean water.
Scratch marks or abrasions to the edges of the fibre caused by wear and tear can be repaired by very briefly and carefully applying heat (i.e. the heat of a hair dryer) to the affected area and rubbing along the length of the fibre with a piece of hard cardboard to restore smooth edges.
