With a fresh look, modern feel and some great feature improvements the Weber Q® range is better than ever! Be it the large gas Family Q® 3200 or the handy electric Baby Q® 1400, throughout the collection there is undoubtedly a Q® barbecue to suit the needs of every keen alfresco chef.
The Weber® Q® 1400 Electric is a robust no-nonsense barbecue ideal for flat-dwellers to use on their balconies or as a great solution in situations where the more traditional gas and charcoal barbecues are not permitted. That said, be under no illusion; just because the Weber® Q® 1400 is electric it offers nothing less than any other Baby Q® grill!
Made with a cast-aluminium hinged lid and body and built into a heat resistant glass-reinforced nylon frame with built-in carry handles the Weber® Q® 1400 is both lightweight and versatile. Also, included within the frame are locating slots for a pair of handy work tables (6502) - sold separately - to be added to allow you extra work space for food preparation.
Preferred by many for their ability to retain higher temperatures for longer, the Weber® Q® 1400 comes with a pair of 32 x 21.5cm porcelain-enamelled cast iron cooking grates which are able to comfortably offer a 1355cm² cooking area.
Differentiating the Weber® Q® 1400 from the rest of the Q® family is a doddle thanks to the stylish electrical symbol at the front, and actually using the barbecue couldn’t be easier either. Fitted with a generous 1.8 metre cable, all you need to do is plug it in, rotate the infinite control burner valve dial on the right-hand side to the desired setting, allow five minutes or so for the element to fully heat up and that’s it, you’re ready to cook!
As you would expect from Weber®, besides a plethora of handy tools and accessories to help you get the most out of one of their barbecues, the Q® range has been designed with domed lids to allow the cooking of larger roasts or deeper receptacles like vegetable baskets etc. to be used.
The Weber® Q® 1400 Electric comes with a modern and fully detachable stand complete with stylish screen which also includes three handy tool holders located at the front. Also, for convenience, the frame of the barbecue allows a disposable drip tray (one included) to be easily inserted into position under the body to catch falling fat and juices.
Like the other Baby Q®s, the Q® 1400 is fully compatible with an easy-to-use collapsible cart (6557) – sold separately – to aid portability.
As with most Weber® Q® barbecues, the Weber® Baby Q® 1400 comes with a 5-year limited warranty on the cast aluminium components (excluding paints) and cooking grates to give you one less thing to worry about as you cook up a storm for your friends and family.
