Despite being 10cm bigger than its little brother, the Compact 47cm, the Weber® Compact 57cm barbecue is equally as ideal for anyone short on space or perfect for someone new to the world of barbecuing.
Referring to the shallower kettle, the word ‘Compact’ in no way means the cooking area is reduced or compromised in any way. Boasting a 57cm triple-plated cooking grate still gives you an impressive 2552cm² cooking area which should be more than sufficient for four to six people so is perfect for small families or groups to use at home or pop into their car or caravan to use at a campsite or beach etc. (where permitted!)
Excellent for everyday use, the Compact 57cm barbecue still retains the build quality and some of the key features you would expect from any Weber® barbecue throughout the range.
The porcelain-enamelled bowl is shallower than any of Weber®'s other kettles to help with portability but still possesses a rust-proof vent at the bottom to assist air flow for perfect barbecuing and a weather-proof handle.
The lid is also porcelain-enamelled, and again contains a rust-proof aluminium vent as well as a weather-proof handle with an added protective heat shield for safety.
Easy to clean, the Compact 57cm also includes a no-rust aluminium ash catcher that sits high up between its three legs. At the bottom of the stand is a convenient triangular shelf for placing food or accessories as well as two crack-proof all weather wheels to assist with mobility of the barbecue.
Included with the Weber® Compact 57cm barbecue is a useful charcoal measuring cup which will help keep the amount of briquettes used consistent and in-turn the temperature controlled and your cooking timings familiarized, meaning perfectly cooked food every time!
Due to the bowl being shallower, the Compact 57cm is not ideal for indirect cooking and, despite being able to fit a 57cm cooking grate, it still isn’t recommended to use with the Weber® Gourmet System grate for the same reason.
Extremely durable against fire, rust and the elements, the Compact 57cm is made to last hence Weber® offering a 10-year limited warranty on the bowl and lid giving you a lifetime of happy barbecuing.
