As a big brother to the Smokey Joe™ collection, the Weber® Jumbo Joe™ is ideal for barbecue banquets on the go and would suit any BBQ enthusiast or first-time barbecuer who enjoys loading up the car and getting out for family picnics, camping breaks or even popping off to the beach when the weather allows!
Besides boasting a 47cm triple-plated cooking grate - giving an improved cooking area of 1735cm² (as opposed to the 37cm / 1075cm² version found on the Smokey Joe Original and Premium models) the Weber® Jumbo Joe™ has a couple of extra features to make your barbecuing that little bit easier.
A clever little dual purpose removable aluminium tray sits snugly into the three angled legs at the bottom serving as both a shield to protect surfaces from the heat as well as an ash catcher to keep your cooking area clean, particularly with the inclusion of a bowl vent.
Working in the same way as the lid vent, the rust-proof aluminium bowl vent is fully adjustable to control the air flow for perfect barbecuing.
Another great detail included on the Jumbo Joe™ is the nifty Tuck-Away™ lid holder which locks the lid in position for carrying as well as lowering to double as a lid holder, which, as well as preventing you from having to put the lid on the ground, acts as a rather useful wind break.
As you’d expect from any quality Weber® charcoal barbecue, the Jumbo Joe™ is built to last. Made from steel and porcelain-enamel inside and out makes both the fire and rust resistant lid and bowl weather-proof and extremely durable and would explain why Weber® confidently offer a 10-year warranty on the bowl, lid and weather-proof handle.
Included with the Weber® Jumbo Joe™ barbecue is a useful charcoal measuring cup which will help keep the amount of briquettes used consistent, the temperature controlled and your cooking timings familiarized, meaning impeccably cooked food every time!
