Great machine and exceptional service from the team around Alice and Jayne. Would highly recommend! Had some issues with delivery initially but they went above and beyond to make it right and were extremely responsive from the minute I raised the issue till it was fully resolved. Thanks!

My Gaggia Classic provided me with remarkable service for 24 years but finally and suddenly gave up. I could have rebuilt it (a few repairs had been done over the years) but this was a chance to move up to a machine I had coveted for a long time. The ECM Technika V Profi (PID) is outstanding. It exudes quality, is beautiful to look at, is very quiet and can easily brew and steam at the same time. This is hopefully the last coffee machine I will need to buy. I will at some point plumb this machine into a direct water supply and perhaps also waste from the drip tray so that I can simply concentrate on making great coffees.

Beautiful machine, well worth the price, and easy to set up for the first use. I've only had this machine for a week or so and am still getting to grips with it. The steam wand and lever for the brew group are so different from my last machine but all it takes is using the machine to get the best from it. The shots I've pulled so far are all good. Now all I've got to do is get my grinder dialled in to suit the machine. All in all one of the best buys I've ever made

Simply WOW! What an amazing piece of engineering to deliver the best espresso. The downside being you’ll turn into a coffee snob and wait until you get home to make the perfect coffee. A great combination of espresso machine and Rinaldo’s in-house superb FRESH roasted coffee beans. So pleased we found a subject matter expert who truly understands what It takes to make and deliver a great coffee. Thank you

Had the Technika for a few days now, what a great machine. Well built and has a real quality feel when you operate it. Getting great results with the espresso shots and foaming the milk. Highly recommended

after several months of reading in-depth reviews on coffee machines and flip-flopping from one machine / brand to another I settled onto an ECM. The internal design appeared very well thought out (German engineering), and the exterior made with great care, clean and classic design. I was initially going for a double boiler machine as i mainly drink flat whites, however after a super informative chat with Rin he assured me that a Heat-Exchanger can suit my needs. The new model is really thin (similar to my old Lelit Anita) and works well in my small kitchen. Rin has been super helpful, friendly and great to chat to - gave me lots of info on different baskets (I bought a VST 20g basket and a 58.4mm tamper) as well as setting up the machine for the first time. I changed the settings of my Fiorenzato F4 grinder to get approx 20g coffee and managed to pull a near-perfect shot the first time - 40g espresso in 25 seconds (I expected it to take much longer). The increase in coffee dose from 14g to 20g was just what I was looking for - stronger coffee taste and much richer cremma. As I didn’t expect to get the first shot right I didn’t steam the milk at the same time, so for the next cup I attempted to do it simultaneously. The milk reached temperature before I got my 40g of espresso, so I’m very impressed with the steaming ability. The two hole tip gave enough power and rolled the milk well to create micro bubbles for a flat white and decent latte art. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Hi Laimonas: thanks for that very informative review - ECM is an incredible brand and turning the water boiler 90 degrees vertically is an ingenious and simple design that saves space. You'll have years and years of joy on this amazing machine.
