Yes, agreed, sir. Because it's an organic microlot from a very small farm, we are assured of the high quality control in the farming methods and especially in the sorting process, which enables me as a coffee roaster to product an end-product with very little defective or unripe cherries.
“Thanks for the usual prompt delivery. Not tasted the coffee yet but it will no doubt be as excellent as usual. One of the many brilliant thing about Rinaldo’s is that the coffee was only roasted a week ago - which is probably of one of the many reasons it is so damn good.”
“Really enjoyed the Colombian I drank last year (can't remember if it was this same bean?) but for some reason forgot to buy it again.
Anyway, I was looking for a new bean to keep me going during lockdown. My default is always Casa, but I also love Panama and especially Costa Rica (unfortunately I only managed to get one box of that before it sold out). I thought I'd go back to Colombian and am now annoyed with myself for having waited so long to order it again!
I'm also in a pickle as it's become a serious contender for top spot in my list of favourite beans (never thought Casa's position would be untenable). Time for a drink-off...”
Thanks Gabby - those are significant dilemmas. Have you considered seeing a caffeine counsellor post-lockdown? Alternatively, there are 8 other coffees to get through... ach...1st world problems - who'd have 'em? Lots of love xxx
“Simply the best coffee we have drunk, through the espresso machine or stove top, it makes a smooth and robust brew that most top coffee shops would struggle to replicate”
