“I used up the last of my supply of these beans several weeks ago. If it had not been up to high quality I expect I would have made a note to avoid buying it again. I am disappointed it is not currently available. I shall have no hesitation in buying some in the future.”
“What a find. Ordered this coffee to use primarily in my Espro cafetiere, at a 1-12 (bean/water gsm) ratio. I like chocolate notes in my coffees with not a lot of bitterness/acidity, but a lot of body. This delivers 10 out of 10 on all counts. It's like having Hotel Chocolat in a cup of coffee. Ok, not quite, but it's blooming close.
The beans are not as oily as my last supplier and after a couple of brews I've found I can grind the beans a couple of notches finer, which seems to bring out more flavour.
So I decided to try it as an espresso with my Gaggia Classic. Bad move. Di 'blooming' lemma!! I'm now torn as to which I prefer to use between this and the Casa Espresso blend I got from Rin. I thought that was nice, but this is a beauty for espresso. Rich, chocolaty, sweet undertones and hardly (if any) bitterness. An absoulute joy to drink.
My only other problem is I'm drinking that much espresso that my flaming ulcer is complaining about it.
Cheers Rin ;-)”
HI Tony:
great feedback, the Bom Jesus is "Miraculous"... but you already knew that. Chuffed you like it... but I can't be held responsible for your ulcer!!!! Cheers Rin
“Have drunk this brewed through a Moccamaster drip machine and also through an espresso machine. Fantastic both ways. Great body, no bitterness, lovely deep flavours. Great to grind too. Rin hand-delivered this to me super fresh as he was in my area too. Talk about going the extra mile! Cheers Rin”
Thanks for the feedback Steve - we had the Bom Jesus farmer owners here a couple of weeks ago. We're delighted to get this wonderful bean direct from the Brazilian farm.
