“I'm running out of words for this bean, apart from DON'T RUN OUT OF THIS RIN. I use it in all my different brew methods espresso, V60, french press and coffee bags. If you ever fancy trying a Brazilian (bean that is) give it a go, you'll be nuts about it.”
“Having tried lots of the local coffee roasters coffee, I have to say this is the best coffee I have ever tasted at home! Amazing flavour, with a lovely sweetness to it! Highly recommended!!”
“My 3rd order of this latest Brazillian and it still my number 1, well, jointly with the others. Judging by my order ratio this seems to be my go to coffee at the moment. At the point of repeating myself but here goes, it's got bags of flavour, depth, chocolate and sweetness. For me everything you want from a drink of coffee without the nasties. It works as an espresso, my V60, french (can we say French now after Br*xit!) press and cawfee bags. Oh and as my new found snack :-)”
“Back to Brazil again for a repeat order and another winner. Can't believe how syrupy this is as an espresso, along with the chocolate notes it's a hit every time. Tried it for the 1st time with the V60 and it's got bags of taste, but really, really smooth with it.
I have noticed that I have to grind it a touch coarser than some other beans from Rin, not so much with my french press, but definitely with espresso and V60.
For me this is without doubt the sort of bean you could introduce somebody to the joys of proper coffee.”
“This is a heavyweight coffee. It has a warming, hearty, almost earthy flavour with a lingering tang.
It's delicious, and I'd also rate it as one of the most distinctive coffees I've sourced from Rin.
Also, maybe I just lucked out with the brewing timings but it was one of least bitter coffees I've had in a while.
This review was conducted with an aeropress, a metal filter, and a lot of beans.”
“This is my first try of Rins latest Brazillian and it has now jumped to the top of the list. The tasting notes are really bang on the money. Tried it first as I always do as as espresso (16g in, 34g out) and had to grind a touch coarser than Bom Jesus. It's very smooth yet really deep in flavour, you get the sweetness, chocolate and caramel notes and finishes nicely with a slight hint citrus tang in the sides of your mouth at the end. In my Espro press it works really well, richer than Bom Jesus, which I like. I've also used it to make up coffee bags for work (espresso grind settings) and it's on par with Rins D.R. Congo for that too. So much from a little bean.
Now I always leave a review when I can but realised I never mention the brilliant service I get from Rin and Ash. Always prompt, nicely packed and I like that I can recycle all the packaging. Great products + great service = happy punter. Win, win. :-))”
“I’ve ‘bean’ nuts about Brazil!
This is now firmly in my top 3 from Rin, I primarily started getting this for my French press, but it has since gone joint top with Union Y Fe for espresso. After replacing my old espresso machine (for an outstanding ECM Mechanika Slim from Rin) the sweetness now comes through even more than before. Even my wife (a 100% leafer) has now started asking for this in a latte. This is a real sweet smoothie, no bitterness at all.
As Frank said “...they put coffee in the coffee in Brazil””
