“This was a treat in two ways! One, the childish thrill of opening a surprise parcel, wondering what would be inside. Two, sampling three lovely coffees. It's a weekend treat for us, so now we have tried all of them.
Niaraguan: This was a very distinctive coffee, nothing like other South American coffees we have tried - a definite fruit kick at the aftertaste, and a very fresh taste - a great mid-morning treat, and one which we'll try again.
Colombian: A much more mainstream, smooth, rounded coffee. Very more-ish, fairly mild and easy drinking. Anytime coffee, and again one to sample again in the future.
Ethiopian: Our favourite. A really distinctive fruit kick, a great wake-up coffee, lingering in the mouth, a taste that is memorable, full and very tangy. Another coffee for mid-morning.
