“Extremely disappointed in what I expected to the espresso machine of my dreams. Out of the box the Ascaso felt cheap and tinny. Minor niggles aside, the machine had a major fault: two of the four switches were loose and rattly, as were the PID control buttons. I sought the opinions of a number of coffee influencers and Ascaso owners, all of whom agreed that the machine was faulty. Rinaldo’s refunded the cost of the machine but refused to refund the shipping charges, arguing that the machine was not faulty. I sent Rinaldo’s video evidence of the rattly switches; they did not comment and their silence was telling. The machine was faulty, the evidence was overwhelming. By all means do business with Rinaldo’s; just make sure you don’t by anything faulty!”
Hi Mark. We're sorry to see such a poor rating and sorry your experience wasn't what we had hoped.
We know things weren't straighforward with all the delivery driver issues we had both ways but we refunded the full cost of a machine that was in perfect condition. We have since sold it and the customer was delighted with it.
Really sorry you weren't happy with the product and we hope you find a more suitable machine for yourself in the future.
