What We think The Fender Champion series is always a winner regardless of what model it is but the champion 100 is the gigging amp YOU need. It is 100 watt and very simple to use. It is extremely versatile and has some fantastic amp voices and effects. Saying it packs a punch is an understatement. It has dual 12” fender special design speakers which means it is perfect for playing live. I would recommend this to ANYONE who is looking at buying an amp for playing live and needs that extra output. If you are looking for a small practice amp the champion series definitely has a model just for you aswell. The Champion 100 is a model from the Blackface range of amps, these amps where produce by fender in the 60s, this model is the all modern version of these great amps. Unlike a tube amp, this model is lightweight and very affordable. It has 2 12” speakers, and does deliver every amount of the 100 watts it says, ideal for any gig. The amp is set out very simply with 2 channels, the first giving you the classic fender twin tone, with the added benefit of a Fx level knob and the Fx type selection knob, giving you versatility and adding colour to your playing. The 2 nd channel has the addition of a gain control which gives you some dirty tones to go along with the clean of channel 1. the other main difference is the voice control, which allows you to select a different amp voice, allowing you to experiment with a variety of other sounds.
