The ZETA modules are cost-effective, high-performance radio transceiver modules designed for various wireless applications. Encased in a miniature surface mount package, these modules can transmit and receive data at speeds of up to 500 kbps over a range of up to 2000 meters.
Operating within a voltage range of 1.8 to 3.6V, the module monitors its battery voltage and features a low standby current, allowing it to enter sleep mode efficiently. It can wake intermittently to provide direct control outputs to a microcontroller, making it particularly suitable for battery-powered applications.
These modules are ideal for one-to-one or multi-node wireless links, suitable for applications such as car and building security, point of sale (POS) systems, inventory tracking, and remote process monitoring.
For programming details and full functionality, refer to the Silabs SI4455 Datasheet available in the data downloads section. The modules come in a compact form factor of 16mm x 16mm and are available in 433, 868, and 915 MHz frequency options.
Applications include home automation, sensor networks, telemetry, keyless entry, health monitors, and access control for doors and gates.

“An excellent little transceiver module with great features. I have used hundreds of these over the past few years. The radio is extremely flexible and can be programmed for various encoding types, frequencies, packet lengths etc. TX/RX range is very impressive both indoors, and in the open air. This is a professional product, and as such you will need to know the embedded Si4455 chip well to get the best from this module. Highly recommended. Full disclosure only: the last batch of 25 that I ordered had 2 dead units - but I cannot be 100% sure that they were DoA there is a small chance that my manufacturer did not handle them appropriately, so be warned - these are sensitive devices and you should take all the usual handling and static precautions.”

“I've used dozens of these modules now, and will use thousands more and can confirm these are great little modules. The sample code is long out of date, and the two schematics offered, are in fact identical. If you're famiiiar with EzRadio then you'll have no problem at all with these.”

Good Day Mr Miller, Thank you for your review, it is very much appreciated, we have taken your points into account and have looked into the sample code to see whether it can be updated. We find that the sample code provided is just to provide a sample to help get the customer started and should not be used as full functionality guide. Thank you for drawing our attention to the schematics of this module, we have checked these within the datasheet and can confirm they are different. One is for Zeta Codec QFN Chip and the other is for the Zeta Codec QSOP Chip. We hope this helps clear up a few things for you. As you purchase many Zeta modules from us, it would be great to know what applications these are being used for, it might be great for a case study if you are ever interested. “Il manque beaucoup de chose ! Votre documentation est très légère! J'ai du télécharger le chip de votre carte pour pouvoir l'exploiter. Il manque une antenne provisoire juste avec un câble de cuivre. Beaucoup de travail pour rien ! Autrement, une fois toutes ces étapes pas de Problème. Vous devez améliorer cela. Il me semble. Good Day Mr Vincent, Thank you for your review, As we are not the manufacturer of the SI4455 chip, we have provided an overview of the ZETA module in our datasheet, as stated in the datasheet the module contains the Silabs SI4455 chip and there are no changes to its functionality. Due to this we see no reason to provide duplicate information of the SI4455 datasheet. However, we have now provided a link on our website to the Silabs SI4455 datasheet for programming and full functionality. Just to confirm the Zeta module is a surface mount module so would not be provided with an antenna. Pour cette raison, nous ne voyons aucune raison de fournir des informations en double de la fiche technique SI4455. Cependant, nous avons maintenant fourni un lien sur notre site Web vers la fiche technique Silabs SI4455 pour la programmation et toutes les fonctionnalités.
