The ZETA modules are cost-effective, high-performance radio transceiver modules designed for various wireless applications. Encased in a miniature surface mount package, these modules can transmit and receive data at speeds of up to 500 kbps over a range of up to 2000 meters.
Operating within a voltage range of 1.8 to 3.6V, the module monitors its battery voltage and features a low standby current, allowing it to enter sleep mode efficiently. It can wake intermittently to provide direct control outputs to a microcontroller, making it particularly suitable for battery-powered applications.
These modules are ideal for one-to-one or multi-node wireless links, suitable for applications such as car and building security, point of sale (POS) systems, inventory tracking, and remote process monitoring.
For programming details and full functionality, refer to the Silabs SI4455 Datasheet available in the data downloads section. The modules come in a compact form factor of 16mm x 16mm and are available in 433, 868, and 915 MHz frequency options.

Hi Peter, Thank you for taking the time to review your order. I am sorry for any confusion caused when purchasing the ZETA modules on our website. The ZETA module is a SiLabs transceiver (SI4455) and an optimised 433 matching antenna network for simple integration into a larger product. The radio modules are designed for people wanting to create bespoke code for purpose built products, in various environments. RF Solutions have designed the ZETA codec chip which can be easily interfaced with the ZETA module. We also offer sample code on our download section to show how the module can be used alongside a PIC micro-processor (this can be used with alternative micro-controllers). We do have a range of modules (GAMMA/BRAVO/ZULU) which already have a micro-processor on-board which can be used for telemetry applications or for wireless RS232 communications. The ZETA CODEC allows easy commands to be sent to the radio module via UART or SPI for control of the radio. We have recently released our ZETAPLUS module which has the SiLabs device and the codec chip all on one PCB. I hope this is of help to you and sorry again for any confusion caused.
