The TRAP systems deliver reliable operation 365 days of the year. This rugged professional product range is designed to meet the heavy usage needs associated with traps and industrial equipment. Now with LoRa, each receiver has four independent outputs which can easily be paired with individual switches from one or many different transmitters. The receivers come in 4 or 8 channel versions on both 868MHz or 918MHz frequencies.

Good Day Gerardo, Thank you for your feedback, please can you contact our technical support team to discuss your issues with the Trap receiver you are having. We can see that you have purchased 13 of these receivers, are you stating that all 13 are not working or just one? We believe that it could potentially be down to the application or the setup/ installation of the product rather than the product itself. There are many things that could affect RF signal for example, metal, trees, make sure the receiver is at least 1 meter above the ground etc. We have done extensive testing on the Trap and are proud to state that it can reach 10KM Line of sight, please review our latest range test video on the Trap which is available on our YouTube channel. “This is a quality manufactured product. We had a client that needed to monitor a fire door if it was being used, this was a high-end apartment block, with no easy way to get a cable to the door. We used a battery-powered Exit door alarm unit which then trigger the Bogeybox. This was received by Trap 4, which then triggered an alarm unit to notify staff the door had been opened. It worked a treat! Because the unit is small we were able to install this into the alarm unit box, making a 1 unit device. We already have other projects that we would use this for in conjunction with the Bogeybox”

“The receiver is a great piece of kit but RF do need to sort our their customer service. when I called to find out why my order had not been delivered, a very dis-interested person told me there was a delay in getting the transmitters. but they had sent me an email [never received] a bit more interest in why I was not very happy would have been useful!”

“Very good receiver well packaged and easy to assemble the setting up of the electrical side is written more for the Electrically trained and require a bit of trial and error and checking with a meter but all good in the end”
