Dear Sir, Many thanks for your review, Sorry to hear of the problems you have received regards to the interference that it appears that you have experienced. Many products operate on this frequency band and the law states that any product must meet the CE/RED (Radio Equipment Directive). Our MAINSLINK product has been independently tested and meets the requirements directive and will coexist with other MAINSLINKS and other manufacturers equipment that is operating on the same frequency band. We have sold many thousands of this product and never previously heard of the MAINSLINK being interfered with a rogue transmitter. I suggest that if any RF product is interfering with another, then one of them is not meeting the requirements set down in legislation, in particular the limits of Duty cycle limits! “Brilliant, I use it to switch a central heating pump which was far quicker, easier and cheaper to install than running cables under floor boards and through walls. My only on complaint is the terminals are too small for larger single strand mains cable, I had to install a junction box alongside to reduce the cable size to fit.”

“Used them to switch lights on remote buildings with the same switch controlling lights on main building. customer typically not thinking of this requirement before drive way being relayed. The mainslink makes things possible that would normally be imposible without great expense. Easy to install and easy to pair additional receivers. Did have problem with one unit, failed after 6 days, awaiting full refund. Already have replacement and all working fine, just one of those things that can happen to anything. prompted services (next day) and very helpful and pleasant people at the other end of the phone. Great”

“Product worked excellently for what I required it for. The design of the boards in the enclosures needs to be looked at though as unless you are using the bottom entry knock out for the cable glands the case will not close properly once the gland is fitted unless the gland nut is modified (filed down to allow the board to fit over the nut). For a product that claims multiple cable entries this is a bit of an oversight. RF solutions also need to look at their delivery service as a requested payment for delivery to Scotland was in my opinion extortionate (I realise this is the courier and not the manufacturer) but delivery to UK mainland should not circa £17 on top of the already stated delivery charge, when I was able to order the product elsewhere with free delivery. I would recommend this product as it does what it says is easy to connect and works straight out of the box with no programming etc. but be aware of the issues like the gland position if you have to fit these.”

Hi Allan, Firstly Thanks for your really constructive feedback, it is only with this sort of review where we can improve the design of the product and our service. We are currently redesigning this product and we have a new custom plastic enclosure with better circuit board fixings, slightly more working space and the ability to fit the lid on both ways, freeing up more space for the glands to fit– if you get my meaning. There are also a few other improvements, including front panel LEDs to inform the user as to the status of the link and the enclosure is going to be IP68. We are still debating as to what colour the enclosure should be as we have customers using these for many inside and outside applications, your opinion would be valued..? Regarding the shipping cost we agree completely we have yet to find a courier who can provide what we would all agree to be a competitive service to north of the border and its wrong that this penalises us both for such an expensive cost. If we could convince your local wholesaler to carry stock then this could be a benefit? Many thanks RF Solutions Team
