“My previous ‘sender’ unit failed after a couple of years. I ordered another pair to replace them both. Whilst waiting for them to arrive (took a few days) I stripped down the sender unit and found an open 8.2ohm 2w resistor on the main AC inlet. Replaced this and it’s working again. Wasted £140 for the cost of a 50p resistor :-(”

Good Afternoon Mr Blackburn, Many thanks for taking the time to place this review, sorry to hear of your frustration, actually the resistor you refer to is a resistor fuse, which is designed to protect the MAINSLINK circuit, which it did. We would always recommend contacting our technical support team to go through any problems before purchasing another unit, to make sure it isn't something as simple as this. I can see that from your WEB order you received the Mainslink around the 7th February therefore if you have not used the Mainslink, please return it to us asap so that we can credit you for it (we need to receive within 30 days from delivery), from what i can see, you are still within the 30 days. “Very easy to wire in and work brilliantly. They have saved a lot of work. There were problems with the delivery but this was down to the courier and RF Solutions customer support were very helpful in resolving things.”

“Brilliant bit of kit wanted it to arm the oil boiler in the garage after having extension built and not wanting to dig the garden up after having to remove the poor wiring that was in the ground no more worries. Than you RF Solutions”
