The GAMMA-T telemetry module is designed for reliable industrial remote switching, boasting an impressive range of up to 16 km. This long-range capability is achieved through advanced features like internal OFDM, spread spectrum technology, and extensive algorithm enhancements.

I have six Gamma modules, and two Zeta modules, they are OK, but the documentation is limited, and has errors. However, it is when things go wrong that you find out how good a company is. I purchased 2 Gamma modules in mid-February 2023, on-line, as a private customer. One module I used straightaway, the other I kept, unopened as a spare. When I came to use the spare module in July, I opened the sealed bag, and two items came out, the Gamma board, and the main chip. I informed RF Solutions of this, with photographs, and was advised that a replacement would be sent. After a few days, I enquired as to when I was going to get the replacement, as was told in no uncertain terms, I was not going to get one, as it was not permitted under their terms and conditions, with the accompanying statement that it could not have left the factory like that, with the inference that it must be my fault that the chip had come off the board. They did offer, as a ‘goodwill’ gesture a discount on my next order of ten, knowing full well that I had never ordered more than two at a time. A lot of correspondence was exchanged, including my pointing out that it was well within the limits of the Consumer Protection Act, and all I ever got back was “it cannot have left the factory like that”, and they weren’t going to replace because of their terms and conditions. At one point, RF Solutions suggested I could send the parts back to them for inspection, which I did. After four weeks I had heard nothing, and when I chased them, I was told the same as above, with no indication as to how/why it had happened, a question I had repeatedly asked, and always got the same response. I asked if I could have the board and chip back as I was still the legal owner, and they refused to return it, and said I could pick it up if I so wished, knowing full well I lived 100 miles away. Now RF Solutions are ignoring me completely . All of the employees I have dealt with in the past have been very helpful and pleasant, but there is one person, who when it comes to customer service, I have never come across such arrogance. I have now removed ALL RF Solutions from my systems, and replaced them all with devices that seem to have better functionality and customer service for around the same price. PS. With reference to the comment by RF Solutions, the board shows absolutely no signs of physical damage, and if it had been detached by physical damage, then there would have been damage to the PCB tracks, which there is not. This can be very clearly seen in the photographs, and the product came out of the bag in two pieces. So, the separation must have occurred prior to my opening the bag.

Good Morning Ian, I am sorry you are unhappy with the outcome of the failure analysis, as i am sure you can appreciate we cannot replace modules which have been physically damaged.
