The GAMMA-T telemetry module is designed for reliable industrial remote switching, boasting an impressive range of up to 16 km. This long-range capability is achieved through advanced features like internal OFDM, spread spectrum technology, and extensive algorithm enhancements.
With 8 switch inputs and 8 digital outputs, the module allows for straightforward activation: when the transmitter's inputs are engaged, the corresponding outputs on the receiver are activated. You can also combine multiple modules to create either simple or complex networks of radio switches.
GAMMA is user-friendly, and easy to use with direct no-volt switch inputs and straightforward data in/data out functionality. It's ideal for a range of applications, including remote control, networking, switching, and sensor integration. The module is available in both 868MHz and 915MHz frequencies, and comes in SIL or SMT packages, making it versatile for various project requirements.

“Great versatile module for exploring LoRa communications or for incorporating into your own unique products. The unit is easy to set up and performs well, even when used with no direct 'line of sight'. Look out for the Humber Bridge Soapbox race on 1/7 as we are using 2 units for race timing, from the start line to the finish line, over difficult terrain and with a bridge in the way!”

“Have used three of these. Excellent performance and reliability. BUT...The user manual is woefully misleading with the Configuration instructions when using the module as a serial transmitter.. The manual states that serial configuration requires 'low level' RS232, which, as I understand it, Implies a positive and negative swing, and the opposite logic levels to TTL serial..NOT SO!..I wasted several hours trying to get the unit to respond to RS 232, only to find it just needs TTL.. ☹️”

Hi John Thanks for the review, regarding the datasheet it is always difficult when trying to use define accurately whilst using “plain English” as far as we can, The RS232 protocol is probably one of the most abused serial comms since its conception in the 1960’s, originally a 15 way connection, it became standard as a reduced 9 way, (on most PC’s) and has generally be replaced by USB. However electronic engineers, and the many electronics components use a further reduced version in the form of 4 wire or 2 wire TTL compatible or “low level 232 comms which is compatible with TTL (Total Transistor Logic) ” This is an industry standard protocol and term. This device uses this same interface and which is stated through the datasheet and application schematic shown to generate a true 4 wire RS 232 comms. Many thanks Kind Regards RF Solutions Team
