The GAMMA-T telemetry module is designed for reliable industrial remote switching, boasting an impressive range of up to 16 km. This long-range capability is achieved through advanced features like internal OFDM, spread spectrum technology, and extensive algorithm enhancements.
With 8 switch inputs and 8 digital outputs, the module allows for straightforward activation: when the transmitter's inputs are engaged, the corresponding outputs on the receiver are activated. You can also combine multiple modules to create either simple or complex networks of radio switches.
GAMMA is user-friendly, and easy to use with direct no-volt switch inputs and straightforward data in/data out functionality. It's ideal for a range of applications, including remote control, networking, switching, and sensor integration. The module is available in both 868MHz and 915MHz frequencies, and comes in SIL or SMT packages, making it versatile for various project requirements.

“Very disappointed: - works fine straight out the box, but not able to configure the module even after using 3 different types of UARTs, so can't set the power level to max or change the addressing which renders them useless. The module won't respond to the #? command. Spoke to the tech dept who just blamed the UARTs levels (which work perfectly well with other manufacturers' equipment) then more or less laughed because I didn't have an oscilloscope or logic analyzer - so no real help there. All-in-all I guess these would be an excellent product but seem overly fussy and not very user (non-professor) friendly. Pity!”

Good Day Mr Smith, Many thanks for your review, We are sorry to hear of your frustrations, The module only operates in accordance with the datasheet and the only communications we can provide are industry standard UART. We have tried to support you to get your application working but as you have agreed that using various “USB to serial converters” that provide an unknown UART signal, the only way to determine what data is being sent from your application to the module is to actively look at the signal This module is designed for embedded applications to a host interface, if you wish to interface with a PC we have other formats of the module such as a USB Dongle and Arduino Shield. “Brilliant for remote, battery powered, monitoring. However:- Data sheet should give more detailed timing info and state config/learn mode does not work when hard wired for transmit mode. Revision history not detailed enough - mine appeared not to latest version. Would help to specify country in which license free.”

Good Day Mr Williams, Thank you for the 5 star review, we are very grateful for the feedback and we will keep it in mind for the next evolution of the product where possible. Sorry we are not sure what you mean by “Data sheet should give more detailed timing info and state config/learn mode” if you would like to provide further details we would be happy to see what we can provide extra. Unfortunately the module micro controller can only handle one task at a time, receive mode includes serial communication but telemetry transmit mode does not. Regards to the license, it is not possible for us to provide a list of license free countries for a product, there are so many parameters for license requirements and the settings would be dictated by intended use (for example: mode Telemetry/Modem, transmission time, output power, Baud rate and required range to name a few). “Unfortunately, the datasheet of the module until now has some errors which are not corrected. Some important details about the protocol of the modul when sending serial commands to it are not documented in the datasheet (that the modul answers with OK in ASCII on the serial line). On the other hand, the modules itself are very powerful and easy to use. Just make the datasheets more precise. Thanks.”
