“As its made from MDF, it's not as sturdy as a solid pine scotia bar. The dimensions 16.50mm (t) x 16.50mm (w) are not as they seem and can be misleading with the corresponding image shown for the product. Remland carpets should show the cross section of the scotia beading so an informed decision can be made about the purchase. Its sprayed white but given its shape and flexibility unlike a solid pine scotia beading, you'd need to nail it to the wall and cannot glue it. That means you'd need to caulk and repaint it anyway which makes the colour pointless.”
