“Watch this company as they will charge extra for commuting and add a £50 admin fee to do it. If you try to cancel the policy they want £150! By far the worst insurance company I have had in 40 years. Avoid!”

“Form filled out online, no problem, small issue with additional information required after getting the policy, but not really a problem. Good communications and nice to deal with on the phone. If they give me the same service and prices on renewal, I'll be staying with them. Thanks to MCN Compare I saved over £200 on the quote from my previous insurers :) Which is why they are 'my previous insurers', double the premium, lose a customer.”

“I was paying £13 a month for previous insurer; for some reason, they wanted to put my new payment up (after 1 year) to £22 a month, despite having 1 years NCD and no accidents. Grove & Dean sold me new insurance at £11 a month for the same cover, as far as I can see. Would highly recommend.”

“Beware of small print !!! had to cancel my policy after only 2 months and they charged me a £60 cancelation fee. Customer service was dreadful. Would not use again and would not recommend.”

“Easy straightforward purchase of an insurance arrangement which suited my needs, as yet I have not had to make any claim and that in recent experience with insurers is where it can fall apart.”

“I recently selected Grove and Dean as the insurer who would provide the best cover for my budget. I have owned the bike for the past 5 years and I have not made a claim in that time. When I filled in the policy details online I did not take into account any claims for my company car. This resulted in a late disclosure for which I incurred extra cost of £30 pounds or so. This I accepted but Grove and Dean subsequently took me off cover due to the details of the 3 incidents outlined in the letter. I contested this, explaining only one of those claims put me at fault for damage to the underside of my car on a company site. They were not prepared to listen and not only have they taken me off cover but they have added administration charges leaving me with a promised refund and no insurance as of 29th May!!”
