The full on dark roast almost scared me off of trying this one. I'm glad I went for it! This is surprisingly smooth with a subtle fruitiness, kind-of hibiscus to me, as opposed black cherry as the description states. No burnt or bitterness characteristics at all. Mild and Mellow
I did have to tighten up the grind a bit compared to the beans I normally purchase from rave.”
“Dark roast coffee with a distinctive flavour. It tastes best after a week of roasting and shows signs of bitterness after 15 days, which I suspect is the character of the bean. Will suit people who like some fruity element to a strong brew.”
