A taste not for the beginner . Strong flavoured and not a particularly easy grind. Unless the old Rancilio is just too old. As ever, the freshness of the roast saves the day

Another nice coffee, sharper than the Sig no1 but a great second choice.

Glad you're enjoying it! The sharper notes make for a nice contrast—perfect as a second choice when you're in the mood for something a bit different. Thanks for the feedback! ☕️

This is a powerful blend, it has deep smoky notes on the nose and taste buds. Raves own description highlights "tobacco" and I fully agree with that. If I was still a smoker this would be what I'd drink with a roll up as it's characteristics would blend and mix with the flavour of cigarette very well. If you are an espresso drinker I highly recommend this as a double or lungo, there is a deep molasses sweetness right at the end past the bitterness. If you aren't a fan of dark coffee you may want to turn this into a long black but it's still very accessible
