“I was happy with these LA 5As at first. A slightly beefier 5A than the other brands to fit in that sweet spot (for me) between 5A and 5B. Unfortunately I snapped one of them quite quickly and I never break sticks, so that was both surprising and disappointing. It could have been a dodgy batch/stick ofc, it wasn't very worn when it went. I have one more pair to try before I go running back to Promark or Vic Firth. 4 stars before it died, 2 stars for not lasting long, averaging out at 3 stars.”
