“Tried all the expensive inflatable cushions and booots provided by the NHS but my mum rejected all of them.
Found this from a google search and it’s worked really well for my mum who picked up pressure sores on her heels through negligent practices in hospital. A really good size for someone of 5 foot tall and much more comfortable than the inflatable stuff.”

Sadly it did not completely meet my requirements being forced to sleep on my back for 6 weeks following a hip replacement. While my heels were protected from potential pressure sores it caused too much swelling in the calf.”

The foam is firm which provides the perfect resistence to keep my heels off of the mattress but I do find that if I stay in the same position for too long, my Achilles do start to ache a little.
