Reduce morning coughs from acid reflux. The older you are, the more important it becomes.

“I've been using the bed wedge for a few weeks now. It took time to get used to (despite immediately being better than the lumpy cushions I had been using to raise my torso up to that point!) and I still wish that I did not have to spend most of the time lying on my left to minimise stomach acid coming up, but I am very happy with the bed wedge. I think it has been a bit of a life saver. I am sleeping a bit better now, overall. It is also nice to prop up and lean against when I am reading in bed, so that is a bonus!
