“Expensive but best of several I have tried over the years. Lost one star due to offensive Union Jack label sewn in. I am Welsh and European, and like millions of others in the UK who voted to remain, this is insulting. Your main label says ‘Putnams England’. Why not use the St.George flag as a label and be proud to be English? The Union Jack has so many connotations linked with the shameful history of the atrocities of the British Empire where it was called “The Butcher’s Apron” (Google it!). I sleep peacefully now I have cut the label off.”
