“I got the hollow fibre as it was meant to be soft. Unfortunately for me it was far too hard and too high. But I’m quite small so most pillows are too high for me. I unpicked the stitches and pulled some of the fibre out and it was much better for me but still not too comfortable for my neck so I’m using it cushion between my knees.
I left 3 stars just because for me it was neither good nor bad. I think a memory foam version would suit me best but it isn’t an option.”
Hi Sian, we do rate the fibre version as "soft£ as most people find that to be the case. It is hard to define "soft" for everyone. I am pleased to hear you found a solution to the problem. We could make a memory foam version but it would have to be a shredded memory foam filling. From experience the memory foam shredded filling clumps unevenly and doesn't make very good products. We do not like making sub par products so at this time we will not be making one but thank you for the idea/feedback. - The Putnams team

“I purchased the Butterfly Pillow in fibre fill and it was tiny in size and useless as a neck support pillow. I am 8 stone and 5ft 1ins in height and I tried the pillow lying down on the carpet and my head rested on the floor, no support from the pillow whatsoever. Unopened I returned the pillow (at my own cost) and received a full refund.
All the reviews are very good but none say what filling they purchased the pillow in. Perhaps the other more expensive pillow fillings do the trick but selling the one in fibre fill is a waste of money for use as a neck pillow, perhaps as a lower back support pillow, but there are in my view better products for this purpose on the market as I have bought them, in memory foam.”

Really helped with random pins&needles in my hands caused by crumbling neck discs, pther pillows had little or no effect!
