“Product worked 'out of the box' as a well pump controller (pressures are pre-set in the factory) is easy to wire up (a hole for the live and a hole for the motor cable) - unlike the item it replaced which only had one access point.
The instructions/manual are a disaster! (hence the loss of a star). If you are reasonably confident with diy/electrics and you don't need/want to change the factory default pressures it is relatively straightforward to fit and wire up.
On the one I received the terminals had been screwed down far too tight in the factory - but they will turn if you use the right screwdriver and enough pressure.
A couple of hints - the motor and live connections are marked inside the item (they aren't shown on the instructions) - and the black insert unscrews to allow the cover to be removed - it is a fair number of turns (how to open the switch is not mentioned in the instructions either).”
