“Once I'd worked out why my cast iron garden hand pump had stopped working, I ordered this plunger which solved the problem. The leather washer on my old plunger had distintegrated, and I found it much easier to order the whole replacement plunger with the leather washer already in place.”
“this works great for a while, (last one, a couple of years!) but the casting is rough and the last two have failed in fatigue at the sharp corner where the flat top joins the sides. Could do with some smoother profiles around this area to reduce the stress raisers.”
