Wear chemical resistant gloves, safety goggles and protective clothing. For best results on wood, do not let <strong>Owatrol Dilunett</strong> work longer than required to dissolve the paint. Hardwoods, especially those rich in tannins (Teak, Oak, Sapele, Chestnut…) can turn dark if in prolonged contact with <strong>Owatrol Dilunett</strong>. Where <strong>Owatrol Dilunett</strong> has darkened the wood DO NOT allow it to dry, prior to using <a href="https://www.promain.co.uk/net-trol-wood-cleaner-colour-restorer.html"><strong>Owatrol Net-Trol</strong></a>.</p> <p>Treat stripped wooden surfaces with <a href="https://www.promain.co.uk/net-trol-wood-cleaner-colour-restorer.html"><strong>Owatrol Net-Trol</strong></a> to restore the woods original colour. Cover and protect everything you do not wish to strip, including plants and shrubs. Apply between 5°C and 35°C. Do not apply in direct sunlight or on a hot surface. Do not allow <strong>Owatrol Dilunett</strong> to dry on the surface. If drying occurs dampen with mist application of water. Brush off any physical surface contamination i.e. moss, general dirt etc.</p> <p>Apply a thick coat of <strong>Owatrol Dilunett</strong> over the whole surface to be stripped. For woods rich in tannins, work large areas in zones to avoid excessive darkening of the wood. Allow product to work. Remove <strong>Owatrol Dilunett</strong> and dissolved paint with a stiff nylon scrubbing brush or paint scraper while flushing with water, alternatively use a pressure washer (max 60bars / 870psi). NB: The use of hot water makes the job easier.</p> <p>Thoroughly rinse surface with fresh clean water. After stripping and rinsing. All porous surfaces must be immediately treated with <a href="https://www.promain.co.uk/net-trol-wood-cleaner-colour-restorer.html"><strong>Owatrol Net-Trol</strong></a> while still wet to neutralise the surface.
