<h2>Owatrol Textrol HES is a microporous wood oil produced from natural plant oils, offers high protection against UV rays, for rough sawn, planed, new and seasoned pressure treated softwoods.</h2> <p>Owatrol Textrol HES wood oil has been specially formulated from natural plant oils to offer a durable finish offering high protection against UV rays from sunlight. Textrol HES is a white spirit based microporous non film forming wood oil that penetrates deep into the timber therefore it will not flake.</p> <h3>Best Uses</h3> <p>Textrol HES is suitable for application to rough sawn, planed, new and seasoned pressure treated softwoods offering excellent resistance to the timber expanding and contracting caused by heat and rain. Owatrol HES wood oil is suitable for many exterior soft woods and pressure treated timbers used in the construction of cabins, siding, decks, fences, garden sheds, pergola's steps and railway sleepers etc.</p> <h3><br />Applications</h3> <p>Textrol HES can only be applied to bare wood surfaces or weathered surfaces previously finished with Textrol HES all other finishes must be completely and thoroughly removedwith Prepdeck or Dilunett.</p> <p>Owatrol Textrol can be applied using a brush, roller or airless spray with a theoretical coverage 12m2 per litre and an overall drying time of 24 hours.</p> <p>When applying Owatrol Textrol HES stir thoroughly before and during application, do not dilute. Always apply Textrol HES in the direction of the wood grain using long even strokes, allow to dry for 15 to 30 minutes then remove surplus material from the timber this will also help the Textrol HES to penetrate deep into the timber and dry with an even appearance.<br /> <br />Treat new wood with Seasonite and allow to weather for 12 months and then treat with Net-trol before applying Textrol HES. Weathered Wood (Wood exposed to weathering for longer than 12 months) should be treated with Net-trol Wood Cleaner & Colour Restorer before applying Textrol HES. Previously oiled or coated surfaces (paint, stain, varnish…) must have the previous finishes completely and thoroughly removed with Aquanett or Prepdeck and the stripped surface must be neutralised with Net-trol Wood Cleaner & Colour Restorer before applying Textrol HES.
