Thanks for your feedback. Obviously to offer one dye colour that matches everyone’s grass shade exactly is impossible. We have extensively trialled the current colour and feel the RAL code we currently use matches the majority situations the product is used on and complaints are very rare. You can darken the shade by making a second application if that helps, but don’t worry, your own grass will re-grow far more quickly where the product has been used rather than if left untreated. “Bottle nozzle was broken so had to use different bottle. Sprayed dead patches once (half of the bottle was gone after that), after one week done it again (used the rest). No changes to dead patches, grass didn’t regrow. Very disappointed with this product, waste of my money really..”

Hi Alicja, the manufacturers have informed us they have addressed an issue with the nozzle not performing as expected. With regard to the product itself - Wee Patch Restore hides the unsightly dead patches in grass in the short term and stimulates growth but seaweed and dispersal agents take time to work to get the soil back into a condition where grass is encouraged to grow. “Colour matching is pretty good and time will tell if grass growth is generated. The trigger mechanism leaked over my fingers and was a bit hit and miss when it came to spraying but I managed to get the job done. Would I use it again? Yes but would probably use a better spray bottle.”

“Bought WEE PATCH RESTORE 500 ML. Supposedly instantly disguises grass browning as it contains a dye. The dye is LUMINOUS green and stands out worse than the brown patch it was supposed to disguise! Hopeless - will not be buying again :(”

Hi John, thanks for leaving a review. We have contacted the manufacturers regarding your comment on the colouring. They are not aware of any issues in production; however have advised the product requires vigourous shaking for at least 30 seconds before use, as some separation can occur. If the product is not shaken thoroughly it could result in mis-match on the appearance. Hope this information helps - however please do not hesitate to contact us if you wish to discuss this with us. “Despite a delivery problem (not Progreens fault ) the wee patch seems to be working well- we have t got to 4 weeks yet and it is the heatwave but so far so good”
