The hand-held Weedstick is a precision applicator that puts weedkillers exactly where you need it – on the weed. There’s no risk of spray drift so it can even be used on windy days. A great product for the keen gardener this really simplifies weed control, allowing you to kill weeds not only in lawns, along pathways and fence lines but also in tricky areas such as flower beds and paddocks.
How to use the Weedstick:
Simply place it over the weed that you want to get rid of and press down to deliver an approx. dose of 2 ml of herbicide. Press once for small weeds (fist size), twice for larger ones.
If you are controlling weeds with a Weedstick it is a good idea to mix your herbicide with a coloured marker dye such as Amvista blue marker dye as this will help you to see where you have been. Re-treatment on some more difficult to treat weeds may be needed. To reduce wastage always mix less herbicide than anticipated you can always mix more.
Use between spring and autumn when weeds are actively growing. Weeds are best controlled prior to flowering and seeding.

Killing weeds in lawns
Use a selective weed killer such as Verdone Extra 1 L to control weeds in lawns
Ideal for treating weeds in new lawns, where it is often advised not to apply an overall spray
Killing weeds in paddocks
Can be used to control ragwort at rosette stage – March and April - when the plant is in a vegetative stage with spring re-growth is set to start
NB: If grazing livestock are on the land where ragwort is to be controlled make sure the correct grazing exclusions are followed
