“The Matabi Evolution 12 litre seems to be well built. It is quite heavy with a full load of water. The instruction manual is basic bordering on inadequate for some features. For example, there are 2 pressure settings which rely on a green or red insert. The instructions do not explain in detail that red and green are opposite ends of a plug already fitted to the pressure regulator. Additionally, I have not had a knapsack sprayer before but have relied on a more simple and smaller Hozelock garden sprayer. The Hozelock system pressurises the whole container and pressure holds up quite well during a spray session. Spraying 5 litres of liquid only requires stopping to pump 3-4 times. The Matabi only pressurises a small dose of the liquid. It does not pressurise the whole container. Consequently, you have to crank the hand pump constantly and I mean constantly to maintain pressure. I understand that there is a version with an electric pump. More expensive, but had I known about constant hand cranking I would definitely have opted for the electric version.”

“12L spayer is just the right weight when filled with 10L and covers my whole garden on one pass. Easy operated with good sustained pressure and no leaks like cheaper models. I would recommend this sprayer to any one.”
