“I bought the 0.5l bottle after reading the blurb, I have bought more (2l bottle) in the hope it will eventually killed the Marestail. 3 treatments not enough so far.”

Hi Andrew. Thankyou for your comments. Horsetail/ marestail is an extremely vigorous and invasive weed so we appreciate the frustration it may cause trying to treat it. Treatment duration will differ for every person as it depends on a number of factors; how long the infestation has been present before treatment or even if neighbouring properties are suffering too... “I found the product very effective with the mares tail going black fairly quickly. I'm just waiting to see how much new growth appears in the coming weeks. PS It would have been useful to have some form of measuring device to dispense the product.”

Hi Paul, thanks for leaving us a review. Due to the regulations surrounding the packaging of the product, it is not able to be produced with an integrated measuring device, but we do stock application equipment which can be found here: https://www.progreen.co.uk/equipment/accessories Hope this helps.

“Unlike other products I have used this actually works ! Could have saved a lot of money by buying this first. Decimated horsetail with one application. I have been trying to kill it, unsucessfully, for over 18 months.”

“Great stuff works so good on horse tail/ mare tail. Tried round up that didnt work and spk that didnt work. It kills it in 2 weeks”

“Kurtail certainly works against Mares Tail. I just need a little now to control the odd shoot that appears each year. It is a pity that a smaller bottle isn't available for that purpose. (One star removed because of that).”

Hi! Thanks for your feedback - We would love to be able to supply this product in smaller amounts. However the regulations from the CRD (Chemical Regulations Directorate) stipulate the pack sizes that we can supply this product in - and 0.5 L is unfortunately the smallest.
