“Kurtail really does kill Marestail, but although it does neutralise when it contacts the soil, it takes a few days to do so, so their is some collateral damage to nearby plants though transmission through the soil. However carefully you control the spray, allow at least 6 inches clear space to the nearest plant, or best of all only spray on fallow land. Otherwise, I can't fault it.”

“Very effective and much faster than I anticipated. Horsetails started to die off within 2 days of application and now, 1 week after spraying, most are dead. I think I will need to reapply it during the summer since some new shoots are likely to appear but I'm hoping that by the end of the summer the problem will be over. 0.5l is plenty for my needs as I apply it very selectively and use plastic pipes to contain the spray and shield nearby plants.”
