I have only used this once on various weeds particularly horsetail (or mares tail) nothing else killed the latter off but Kurtail Gold certainly did. All the weeds were killed but the horsetail roots go down to Australia !!! So I reckon another one or two goes and it should be cured. It seems expensive at first but when you realise it can be diluted to 5 x 5 litres it doesn't seem so bad - especially when it does the job. Certainly would recommend.

Following a delivery or horse manure ( unfortunately and belatedly discovering it was not "well rotted" as advertised, I have had years of struggle with mares tail, finding nothing that adequately dealt with the growing " infestation". Coming across this product and website I have not only found a treatment that really works but the information supplied on the weed has also armed me with an understanding of how and when to treat to avoid it spreading. I still have the odd stem but the sea of mares tail has almost disappeared A product that does what it says "on the bottle". I thoroughly recommend.

My experiences echo a lot that has been written here. If you are reading this then you already know the horror that is horsetail. Was it Alan Titchmarsh who was once asked "what do you do if you have horsetail in the garden?", and he answered "move". From having no trace a couple of years back we have been overwhelmed by this pest (the horsetail, not Alan Titchmarsh) and have tried everything: digging it out (yes, yes, I know now), pulling the stalks frequently to try and weaken it, using proprietory strong weedkillers. And if you're reading this for advice then you know that none give more than temporary respite. So I heard about Kurtail. I read the reviews, balked at the price, but thought I'd give it a go anyway. The first thing to say is that although it is expensive per bottle, it dilutes a long long way, so per application it's pretty reasonable. Within days you could see the weed dying, and fairly quickly there were large swathes of dead horsetail. I've had nothing else that comes near. I'm not naive. I know the battle has only just started but this is the first Big Push that is showing results. I know we will still have to spray and spray as remaining little varmints poke their heads up, but we're winning I feel. For the first time I feel optimistic. Give it a go. Either that or move.
