Who would invent green dye to be used on grass? Like a chocolate tea pot. Thought it was the usual blue, avoid!

Hi Steven, We are sorry this is not the product you thought. As the name suggests this is "green marker dye" we do have a blue marker dye product which is listed on our website as a separate product! Kind Regards The ProGreen Team

Great to see spray control in paddocks and larger spray area

Unfortunately, this dye is almost impossible to see, once sprayed on grass, even when increasing dose above the recommended rate. I guess being green, I was being optimistic. Don't waste your money.

Very hard to see the dye after spraying I even tried double then treble the recommended dose and then could just about make it out. It has stained the inside of my tanks so now I cant see what water level is in them. I would not recommend this product, great idea but doesn't work in practice.

Hello Chris, Thank you for your feedback on this product. We generally target the green marker dye as a solution for hard surfaces and bare ground, on these surfaces the green dye shows up well and is less intrusive than the blue marker dye. The blue marker dye is the product we recommend when treating grassed areas. All our coloured dyes are food grade and will degrade in between 24 – 48 hours, the staining in your tank should fade within this time and will disappear completely with use. If you have any further questions please do contact us on 0800 032 6262. Thanks, The ProGreen Team

Hi Mark, thanks for leaving us a review. Our marker dyes are all food grade, biodegradeable colourants. While we cannot issue a shade to match all situations the dilution rate is flexible to allow more, or less, coloured dye to be added to a spray tank to suit the shade of grass and the volume of liquid being applied. Dilution rates are suggested and can be altered to suit.
