“Well I wish I'd found this sooner! Had to phone for a delivery price due to being at the opposite end of the UK. Tried to shop around locally but couldn't find many alternative suppliers so phoned the order in direct. Beth managed to get the courier to hang back for 15 minutes so the order could get away that afternoon. Placed the order late Friday pm and the sprayer was at my door Wednesday am. Over the weekend I read some quite scary reviews of failures, leaks etc and thought what have I bought! It turned out to be worrying about nothing, read the manual and put the thing together no problem. One common issue I read on the online reviews was poor quality hoses to the boom, poor quality clips but this has good nitrile hoses and metal jubilee clips. Checked every clip for tightness and then filled it with water (as it says to do in the manual) and let it stand to check the tank for leaks, leak tight. Connected the electrics and connected to the ride on battery and ran it up, boom spray was all good as was the lance. One thing i'm going to do is properly install the wiring, there is no reference to it in the manual. I plan to run it through the backbone tube and out through the hitch, there's a connector on it which just about puts it in the right place. To connect to the ride on there's another cable with a switch and fuse and crocodile clips to the battery, I'm going to put some proper leads to the battery terminal and mount the switch on the ride onto do it properly. That's my only suggestion to improve it, either that or a load of cable ties!! Now, I just need the wind to die down and I'm going spraying! Much easier than getting dizzy with a knapsack sprayer. Oh, and remember, the gallon markings on the tank are US gallons so be careful when mixing the herbicide. Recommended, especially if you have horses.”
