Was pessimistic about winter seed, put seeds down early February during warmer weather, birds enjoyed the seeds, however several weeks later seeds started to grow and now looking good, still have sparse areas but probably down to my application. Will reseed again with shady seeds and see what happens. Very happy with product, packaging, delivery would recommend

Good seed. Sown in mid November and took three weeks to come through but looks great now. Works well in cooler temperatures and is useful for repairing football pitches in winter.

We used this seed last year at the end of October on a cold clay soil and had a relatively good germination which thickened up really well in spring .This year we have sown at a similar time but on a sandy acre of harrowed soil and the resutare fabulous.its mid November and a complete green cover in 3 weeks ....

We are delighted with this grass seed ,we thought it was too late in the year to seed a large garden lawn and that we would have to pay for expensive turf but this seed was up in ten days !!excellent !
