It's too early to give a 5 star rating as it will take several application to control a severe Mares Tail problem. We took on an allotment plot at the begining of the year when there was no indication that the whole plot was covered in Mares Tail. It had grown quite big before we discovered the combination of SBK & KPlus. The spray was most effective on areas where we had previously tried digging it out and the regrowth was small. We are hopeful that by tackling the problem earlier next year we'll have greater success. The sprayer was easy to use and the correct dosage was easily achieved by the built in measure at the neck of the bottle.

So far so good! Have sprayed the horsetail and they look to be disintegrating. Time will tell! Excellent pre-purchase advise so I’m hoping for great results .

It did kill some mares tail. But it's fiddly, measuring out small amounts to add to a lot of water. The sprayer was a little hard to handle as well, when it was nearly empty it tended to aerosol. I shall probably use a watering can instead to drown everything when I have to do it again. Which I will, because new stuff was growing while the old was dying.

Bought this product to tackle mare's tail which had invaded my lawn. Worked a treat - mare's tail now gone. My grass has not been affected - lawn looking good again.

I bought this bundle that included a sprayer, as I thought the sprayer would be of good quality seeing its being offered by a reputable firm, and I also thought it would be a good idea to keep this sprayer just to use with SBK BRUSHWOOD KILLER ! . When I used it for the first time , I added the weed killer to 1 litre of water then pumped the sprayer about 40 times and started spraying. But after a few minutes I had to pump it again as no fluid was coming out and I had to keep doing this for upteen times until the liquid was used up and in the last 100 ml , I had to pump it several more times before any liquid came out. Very disappointing with the sprayer. I think it was not defective but badly made . I then used my trusted Hozelock sprayer and I only had to pump it twice before I used up the litre of weedkiller. Upon checking the sprayers, I noticed that the barrel of the Hozelock were the piston sits is wider than the sprayer supplied with the bundle. So do not bother buying the sprayer offered with the bundle as its waste of money and instead , buy a decent one for about £15 or less and would be a good idea to open the sprayers and compare diameter of the pumping mechanism. As far as the weedkiller is concerned , I can say that it did its job very well and would highly recommend buying the SBK and the KPlus together from this company.

Good quality sprayer, sbk knocked the mares tail back but it’s grown back a couple of weeks after spraying. Could be because your not supposed to spray during a drought for some reason, I’m not sure.

Seems to work on marestail - takes a while for it to work. Pump spray needs pumping quite often.
