“Hi, I own five assorted routers but always fancied owning a palm router for small routing jobs so I finally bought this lovely Makita. I've not yet used it but can give first impressions. Out of the box I was surprised by its weight; its a solid bit of kit and made to the usual high Makita standard. I've plugged it in and run it; it runs very sweetly indeed and for my home workshop use should last a lifetime. The router came with just two guides but the same router can be bought with a more extensive kit. It's a very welcome addition. Kind regards, Colin. “I’d been meaning to get one of these for a while and finally took the plunge, (no pun intended). I use a router a lot in my work; I’m a professional harp maker and this a very handy tool. Sometimes the big router is a bit overkill. This is light and has a small footprint and is great for trimming soundboard edges, binding rebates etc. It’s aluminium body is solid and adjustments are easy. It’s a good tool and I think I will use it a lot.”
